Allergic Rhinitis

Allergic rhinitis is an allergic reaction to small particles in the air called allergens. When you breathe in an allergen through your nose or mouth, your body responds by releasing a natural chemical called histamine. Some indoor and outdoor allergens cause hay fever. Common causes include mites, mold, pet skin, and pollen from trees and plants.
