Sarcoidosis

Sarcoidosis is an inflammatory condition that affects multiple organs in the body, but primarily affects the lungs and lymph glands. In people with sarcoidosis, abnormal masses and nodules of inflamed tissue form in certain organs of the body. These granulomas can change the normal structure and alter the function of the affected organs.
